Our new social network site was published! It’s CoderBlog X and the domain is https://x.coderblog.in.

CoderBlog X is base on Mastodon, is a decentralized social media platform that offers an alternative to mainstream, centralized social networks. It’s a federated microblogging just like Twitter (Now is X).

There are some key features of Mastodon :

1. Decentralization: Unlike traditional social media platforms, Mastodon is not controlled by a single corporation. Instead, it consists of a network of independently operated servers (called instances) that can communicate with each other. Each instance can set its own rules and regulations, making it more flexible and responsive to the needs of different communities1.

5. Creative Expression: Mastodon supports audio, video, picture posts, accessibility descriptions, polls, content warnings, animated avatars, custom emojis, and more. Whether you’re publishing art, music, or podcasts, Mastodon provides a space for self-expression1.

6. Global Communication: Mastodon servers interoperate with each other, forming a global social network. It’s built on open web protocols and can speak with any other platform that implements ActivityPub. With one account, you get access to a whole universe of social apps—the fediverse1.
